Terms of Service

The deal in plain words: you pay once, use Halo on your own Macs, and I keep it working as well as I can.

Last updated 22 October 2026. By buying or using Halo you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Who you're dealing with

Halo is made by Otabek Abdiraimov, an independent developer in Uzbekistan (LinkedIn). Contact: support@halo-mac.com. Purchases are sold by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, so their buyer terms also apply to the payment.

Your license

Price and refunds

The price is shown at checkout before you pay. All sales are final, except where the law where you live gives you a right to a refund. If Halo doesn't work on your Mac, write to me first: most problems have a fix.

Updates

Halo updates through its built-in updater. I may add, change or remove features. An update doesn't cost extra unless it's clearly sold as a new paid version, and the version you have keeps working with your key.

Other services

Some features rely on services I don't run: LRCLIB for lyrics, Groq for dictation with your own key, and Apple's frameworks. Their terms apply to their part, and I can't promise they stay available.

No warranty

Halo is provided "as is". I work to make it reliable, but I don't promise it's free of bugs or works with every Mac, monitor or app. Controlling an external monitor depends on that monitor supporting DDC/CI.

Liability

As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and my total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for Halo. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that the law says can't be limited.

Changes and law

I may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, without taking away the protection of the consumer laws where you live.
